Domain Mapping taking away WWW.

  Hi all,

  I recently mapped a domain over at genericity2010.wordpress.com to http://generi-city.net but I would like it to be http://www.generi-city.net instead.

  At the moment when I type http://www.generi-city.net in a web browser it brings me to my blog but removes the www. in the URL bar.

  How do I stop making the www disappear?

  Hi. That’s how domain mapping at WordPress.com works. The www is automatically removed:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/ (under “Before Upgrading – Important Notes”)

  This being said, it’s good to know that your previous issue has been resolved.
