Domain Mapping –> Transfer

  Hello, I have a newly registered domain and am unable to transfer everything to wordpress. I would like to get started on my lifestyle blog now, so I was going to follow through with mapping my domain through wordpress. My question is, once my domain is eligible to transfer over to wordpress, will I be able to edit this feature on my site?

  If it was always your intention to create a site here at WordPress.com then it would have been easier (and perhaps cheaper) to register your domain here also. As it is you can map your domain to a WordPress.com site with a Personal plan or higher and transfer it later if you wish when the 60 day lock has passed (as long as it isn’t one of the few domains such as .fr or .uk that can’t be transferred here).
