Domain Mapping Upgrade

  Hi folks,

  We are having an issue with the domain mapping. Although we have the Premium $99 package which includes domain mapping, it will not allow us to set it up for free as is listed in the package. It is prompting us to pay $13 per year for it ??

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  How many username accounts do you have and which one are you logged in under?

  You must be logged in under exact same username account that registered the blog and who is the Admin of the blog to access it.

  Hi timethief,

  The current blog URL is marinecentre.wordpress.com. The URL we will be using is RosboroughBoats.com. The URL is currently pointing to another hosting provider, but we are planning on making the switch tonight with emails going to Google Apps at the same time.

  I have two administrator accounts on the blog, but I have tried to do the “Add a Domain” process from both without success. I actually signed up for the exact same package for another blog and domain as a dry run and it had worked perfectly so I am completely confounded.

  Any help is appreciated.

  Hi there,
  Thanks for the additional information ie. the URLs. which will be helpful to Staff.

  Staff work their way through support tickets and forum threads tagged for their attention by dealing with those that have the earliest date and timestamps first, then moving forward to deal with those that have the most recent date and time stamps. Please be patient while waiting for Staff to assist the bloggers who posted before you did.

  Hi timethief,

  We have the migration set to go after 6pm Atlantic time tonight. If I purchase Domain Mapping for $13 so that we can get this under way tonight, is it going to cause an issue with correcting this later and will a refund for the $13 be possible?

  Hi oatmealdesign,

  It looks like there was a glitch with your domain credit in our system, due to the previous attempts to map the domain with this bundle. I fixed that issue and refunded the $13 domain mapping upgrade you purchased, so you should be all set. (Please note that it may take up to a week for the refund to appear on your bank statement.)

  I double-checked your domain settings and the custom DNS for your Google Apps email, and from this end everything looks good. Please let me know if you have any questions! :)
