Domain Mapping Upgrade doesn't work consistently.
-
I have the domain mapping upgrade, but when I used Zemanta to choose one of my older posts as a related one, it posted my old version of my blog URL. My understanding was the upgrade was meant all posts would be stusshed.com/whatever. That doesn’t appear to be the case:

Your domain mapping upgrade is working as far as we can tell, but we can’t provide support for third-party services like Zemanta.
You can find details for contacting Zemanta support at Users -> Personal Settings in your blog’s Dashboard.

Thanks – I can generally is working, and I can appreciate you don’t provide support for Zemanta, but why is any external-to-Wordpress site (Zemanta, Google etc) seeing the old address and not the current?
Presumably they find “Related Posts” on the fly, so should be seeing the correct domain mapping and not be being provided the old version.

Well, the way it works is that http://stusshed.wordpress.com/ will always redirect to http://stusshed.com/ but it’s up to Google and other such services to notice the new domain and index that, thus replacing the old domain.
We have no control over how external services operate.
