Domain Mapping – will it work without paid plan on the 2nd year

    I have a question. To map a domain (make it point to your WordPress.com website) you need a paid plan for 1 year. OK, but my question is – will the connection still be available after this 1 year is over and I don’t renew the paid plan? Or the settings will be reset and I won’t be able to access my WordPress site with the short url anymore, as I am not paying after that 1 year?

    You need to renew your upgraded plan annually for the mapping to continue to work.
