Domain mappnig not working

Hello! I’ve domain-mapped the wordpress blog aurorafreeport.wordpress.com to aurorafreeport.com early this morning. I’ve done all the steps indicated in the Map Existing Domain how-to page(http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/) but aurorafreeport.com still does not redirect and I am shown the default page. Why does it not work, and what do I need to do to fix it? Thank you.

This had been solved a couple of minutes ago, but now I have a new problem: when typing http://aurorafreeport.com, it automatically adds www to the address which makes it revert to http://www.auorafreeport.com, the default page, and not the one I want. http://aurorafreeport.com/ – goes to a WordPress.COM blog just fine – it can take 24 to 72 hours for the internet to change in the far corners but many times the changes show up quicker.

So you saw the wordpress.com blog? Whew. The problem is that I already saw http://aurorafreeport.com go to the wordpress.com blog, but a couple of minutes later, when I checked it again, it redirected to the default page, and I am bewildered why it happened since I didn’t change any settings.

There is caching of pages on the internet – I mapped one blog and a friend could see the mapping in a few minutes but it took me over 24 hours for me to see the changes.

OK, thank you!! I really appreciate your help. I’m stressed out over this since I need it to be up by dawn tomorrow and I can’t preview the changes I made,(the blog posts) and how it looks, probably because of this cache-ing thing. But I’m glad people see the wordpress site. Thank you again!
