Domain may have expired and I don't know how to renew.

    My website is currently down and I think I may have let my domain expire. I have tried to log into the admin page of the site but it’s not coming up. Any help the community can provide would be greatly appreciated.

    Where did you register your domain at? It looks like WILD WEST DOMAINS, LLC owns the domain. If that doesn’t sound familiar to you, it could very well be that the domain reached expiration and was purchased by a reseller.

    I thought the same thing so I called them and I was told that the domain was actually registered through WordPress and that WordPress is a client of Wild West.

    In that case, it’s likely expired.

    The registrar status shows ‘clientDeleteProhibited, clientRenewProhibited, clientTransferProhibited, clientUpdateProhibited,’ so it looks like you’ll need to contact Wild West Domains and/or the WordPress.com support staff to have them verify.

    This support article talks a bit about the different periods a domain goes through beyond expiration.

    jtfukraine.com. – is registered through WordPress.COM and seems to have been mapped here in the past – the name servers currently point to Fatcow for a host

    Is Fatcow your current host? If so you need to talk to Fatcow and see what happened

    Hi Jason,

    The domain jtfukraine.com is registered on WordPress.com, and is not expired, but is owned by a username other than the ones from which you’ve posted here. You did connect the domain jtfukraine.com to the username from which you’re posting (adman267) using the Jetpack plugin.

    To renew the domain, or adjust any of its settings, you’ll need to log into WordPress.com as the username which controls the domain. However, that does not appear the cause of why your site would be down.

    The domain’s name servers do currently point to fatcow, not WordPress.com, so to get your website up I suggest logging into your hosting service at fatcow and make sure your hosting plan is still active and not expired.
