Domain Migration without using WordPress nameservers

Hi,
I’m looking at using the domain migration add-on to add a existing domain name i have to my wordpress site. However I use this domain for Office 365 and I am told that I should not change my nameservers from microsofts as their cloud based service makes regular changes, so I was wondering if there’s a way of me adding the custom A records onto the microsoft nameservers (which I can custom manage the DNS for) to be able to use microsoft name servers but point to my wordpress.com site?
Also please note that if I can do this I will be looking at creating a new blog, just in-case the IPs etc change depending on the blog.

I’m afraid you will need to change your domain name servers to map your domain to your WordPress blog. For full instructions, please see:
