Domain name & switch to wordpress.org

  Hi again-
  I just started the transition to WP.org. I am using Blue Host.
  Here’s my question. I already have the domain name: http://www.llworldtour.com.
  I bought it from Yahoo and thru them i redirect it to the WordPress.com address.

  Now, i am changing to WP.org and will use the same domain name. During this transition time–what happens?? I’m confused so i’m not sure how to even word this question, but i want to start to set up my wp.org site at http://www.llworldtour.com, but right now that is my wp.com site. So how can i leave it there and set up the wp.org site without it changing until i’m ready?

  I am assuming you already have the hosting setup where your WP.org app will run. The hosting provider should be giving you a temporary url to test the WP.org installation. Use that to test the app.

  Once you are sure that the WP.org app works, change your DNS to point http://www.yourdomain.com to point here.
