My domain name seems to be ‘thesocialsavvytwentysomethingdotcom.wordpress.com’
It needs to be thesocialsavvytwentysomething.wordpress.com.How do I change this?

As you own the matching username and the site has not been registered yet it is reserved for you to register.
When we register a username account the matching blog is reserved for our future use. It cannot be obtained by anyone other than the person who has registered the matching username account.
If and only if you have registered the matching username account log out, clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies. Then log in under the correct username account and as the blog is reserved for you and you will register it after logging in under the correct username account.
