Domain name

  I did not realize wordpress.com would come after domain name I bought. What I created was carolynellisart.net.wordpress.com or something close to that.

  I do not want this domain name and therefore do not want to be charged the annual amount.

  Hey there,

  The URL with wordpress.com is the free URL that is permanently attached to your site when you created it. You are not charged for that. However, I do not see any transaction for a custom domain under your account. Once purchased, carolynellisart.net will mask your WordPress.com URL and visitors will only see the custom domain.
