Domain name

  Hello, I would like to register using the name badsaint.wordpress.com. The domain name seems to be taken, but when I viewed the site it’s completely inactive. If indeed this site is totally inactive and has been so for a long time, would it be possible for me to get the domain name? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Hi,

  There is no expiration date on .wordpress.com blogs unused, reserved or otherwise.

  I see two options here.

  – You can leave a reply (‘About’ section) to ask this person if it would be possible to gain access to the domain.

  – You can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  Or even better, you can register a new domain, so you can hide the .wordpress.com part: https://en.support.wordpress.com/register-domain/
