  i want to register a domain as ‘myname.wordpress.com’, but the program only gives me the option ‘mynameblog.wordpress.com’. i checked the internet, but myname.wordpress.com doesn’t exist yet. so i am wondering why i cannaot register just under my name, without adding ‘blog’.
  can anyone give me advice?

  Hi @Georg, we’re working on a fix for that. In the meantime you can use this:
  https://signup.wordpress.com/signup/?new=myname.wordpresscom — subbing your actual username of course. Cheers!
