  Do I need to pay for the premium domain name registration up-front or am I billed at the end of the year?

  Hi @daleywritingservices – Any purchase made on WordPress.com is paid for in full at the time of purchase. This includes custom domains and upgraded plans. Custom domains are an annual fee depending on their ending (.com, .org, .net, etc…) and you will have to renew them annually before their expiration date.
