  HI,
  My mom got help a few years back with making a website. Now this website is on Joomla and it is not up to date anymore. I would like to make her website again but via wordpress. However, her domain name is okay and I want to use that for a new website that I will be making via WordPress. But how? And how can I do that in the best way?

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

  Could you please share the site URL? To use a custom domain with WordPress.com, you can either connect or transfer it to WordPress.com, both which would require a plan upgrade..
