  Hi there – when will my paid for Domain Name be available for me to apply to my site? I’ve received a receipt email confirming the Domain Name but my site is still displaying the one assigned for free and the paid for Domain Name isn’t appearing in my list of purchases on my WordPress account?

  Hi there,

  It looks like your domain registration failed due to a technical issue at our domain provider. We sent you an email about this yesterday, but it’s possible that could have landed in your spam folder :)

  Please try to register the domain again. Your payment has been added as credits to your account, so you won’t need to pay again. Let us know if the domain again fails to register.

  We can also refund the payment instead if you’ve decided you no longer want the domain.

  I do need to note that once the domain is registered, your site will still show the free WordPress.com address, and the domain will just redirect to it. To set the domain as the primary address on your site requires our Pro plan.
