  Hello, I am having a hard time trying to add an existing domain name to wordpress. Do I have to pay $99 to use a domain I bought from godaddy.com?

  Yes, you’ll need at least the Premium Plan, which includes a domain name or mapping (if you already have the domain):

  https://wordpress.com/plans/

  It also includes a bunch of other goodies, like custom design tools, extra storage space, custom fonts, and more. :)
