  Hi, I have an existing site http://www.thistledubh.wordpress.com which was totally free and works perfectly. I am now trying to set up a new site for a local paragliding club. I have bought http://www.rutlandairsports.co.uk from godaddy and I would very much like to use wordpress to build and administer the site. Whilst setting up, I am being asked to pay $13 to move the address across. Why is it asking for money when the last one I set up was free?

  Hi Paul, the site with the .wordpress.com address is free. Upgrades (including custom domains) help us pay for the free sites, as well as provide support the paid users need.
