  Are you trying to use the domain newsmycity.com as your site primary address?

  You should be able to do that by following the steps here:

  The primary domain setting decides which address is visible in the browser when accessing a site.
  
  1. Go to My Site →upgrade → Domains. You’ll see which domain is currently labeled as primary

  2. To change the primary domain, click on Change Primary in the top right:

  3. After, select the domain you wish to be primary. The change is applied immediately.

  I checked that this domain name is already taken. So, you don’t create that name using the “.com” extension. If you used another extension like “org”, it’s available and it’s worth approximately $12. But if you still want the “.com” extension, then go to GoDaddy and hire a broker. The hiring charges are approximately $50 to $60. He makes a deal with the domain owner. If the owner consents to sell our domain, then he makes a deal with him and then you pay a fee to buy the domain name.

  It looks like you were already helped in live chat regarding this. However, when you cancelled your Premium subscription you also cancelled your domain name purchase. Canceling a domain does not make it immediately available to repurchase elsewhere. Here are the available options for you:

  Wait: You can wait about five days from cancellation for the domain to be released. So long as no one else buys it before you do, you can purchase it again with another provider.

  Repurchase the Domain: We can send an invoice and restore the domain. You’ll be able to point it to a new host as soon as it’s restored, then transfer the registration after 60 days.

  Repurchase a Plan: To host your site here, buy an annual plan, skip the domain option, and update us here.
