  I already have a domain name purchased from GoDaddy. I want to use it versus my current domain name iTeachMathEducators.Wordpress.com. Why is it stating that I must pay $18 to register the domain. Unless I read wrong.

  Hi there,

  For a domain you already own you need the domain mapping upgrade that is included in all our plans.

  So, first you’ll need to go to My Site ->Plans and add one of our plans, and then you’ll be able to add a domain mapping upgrade by following the instructions here:
