domain name

  I am new at this. I haven’t paid anything yet and am therefore puzzled how this ‘domain name’ was so quickly accepted. However, it is my wish to ‘customize’ my domain name to omit the ‘wordpress.com’ element. How do I accomplish that given that it already has my domain name as, ‘adreamsuspended.wordpress.com’

  Hi there,

  All WordPress.com sites start out with a free domain like yours, adreamsuspended.wordpress.com. To remove the “wordpress” from the address, you need to register or connect a custom domain, and to do that you need one of our upgrade plans. You can view the different plans at My Site ->Plans.

  You can also edit the free address if you want. That option is under My Site ->Settings.
