  Hi,

  I cancelled my wordpress.com subscription as I realised I needed wordpress.org instead. A domain name was included with my subscription, so that was cancelled too. I’ve since tried to purchase the domain naem elsewhere, but it has not (yet?) become available. I don’t want to lose the domain name – is it just a matter of waiting? Is there anything I can do to ensure I don’t lose the domain name completely while not being tied to using the .com version of wordpress?
