  I own a domain name that is currently registered with a different domain name provider than wordpress.com. I would like to use it with a site created / hosted on wordpress.com. When I try it asks me to upgraded from Free to Premium plan. I don’t need Premium but am happy to upgrade to the Personal plan. Its not clear from the description though if it will allow me to do this. Could you pls clarify if it will or not. Txs. Rergards, Glenn

  Hi there,

  You can also add a domain as part of the Personal Plan, yes. First buy the plan from My Site ->Plans, and then you can add the domain by going to My Site ->Domains.
