  Hello, I need a little help to change my current wordpress domain name with a purchased domain name, for example, x.wordpress.com, to x.com. I would like to retain all of the content from x.wordpress.com when I update the domain name to x.com. I also intend to create and use an email address using the same domain name. I would appreciate step by step instructions if possible. Thanks.

  Hello there,

  Once you have purchased the plan, you can use your purchased domain as your primary address of your site and all your content will appear as it does on your site with the “.com” extension.
