  Hi There
  I have a domain name, using squarespace but now wanting to move to wordpress. I thought this would be free, but its asking me for $99! Is this correct?

  Hello

  You will need to upgrade to the personal, premium or business plan in order to use your own custom domain name.

  You can take a look at the plans and the options at https://wordpress.com/pricing/.

  You can add a custom domain name to the personal plan, which is $2.99/month (billed annually)
