    Error. I was intending to renew my Domain: truckfishing.com and in error created a new one: truckfishinginamerica.com I’d like to cancel the new name and renew the original. How do I go about this?

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

    I do not see that the domain truckfishing.com is listed under your @timmy3183 WordPress.com account when I check on our end. You can confirm by visiting this page: https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/

    Is it possible you made your purchase under a different login? I can confirm that truckfishing.com is registered at WordPress.com but is under a different account and not your @timmy3183 login. If you do not recall how to log in to your other account you can fill out the form here to get assistance from our Account Recovery team: https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery

    Thanks so much! Another person set up truckfishing.com at @timmy3183 and we have straightened out that domain. So, we’re purchased and renewed for that. I cancelled @truckfishinginamerica immediately, but the reimbursement of $48 has not yet been applied to my checking account. The transaction number is [redacted]. Thanks, and I’ll also check out the account recovery link.

    The transaction ID you provided is for an upgrade that is still active and has not been canceled and refunded. It is for the Personal Plan connected to truckfishinginamerica.com. Did you want to cancel that particular subscription?

    Yes, I do want to cancel the @truckfishinginamerica subscription! I thought I’d clicked on something in the email receipt when I mistakenly created it. Do I need to do anything else?

    I can confirm that truckfishing.com (which as mentioned is under a different admin) appears to be good for another year.

    For the upgrades under this current account, I have cancelled the upgrade and issued a refund for your original purchase amount. You can see a receipt confirming this refund here:  https://wordpress.com/me/billing

    You can expect to see the funds in your account, but it can take a billing cycle or two depending on your institution. I can confirm the refund was processed on our end, but you may also wish to contact your credit card company to confirm.
