  Hi,
  I recently purchased a domain from Bluehost. When I log on to my new WordPress account, it shows my URL as having my URL as soundcandymag.wordpress.com. It’s simply supposed to be soundcandymag.com. Where did I go wrong or does ‘coming soon’ mean that my URL will change? I’m not great at this, but I don’t know what to do. I need the wordpress.cpm portion removed.

  Yes, we can help you with that. What’s missing is the domain connection. This connects soundcandymag.com to your account here on WordPress.com. You’ll make that connection after deciding on a hosting plan for the account. We can certainly help you with that decision, too. Keep in mind that the plan can be upgraded or downgraded at any point so we are just trying to l and at a starting place. I’d suggest starting on the personal plan.

  Once you’ve added that plan to the account the domain can be connected. You will access the DNS information of your domain through BlueHost and update the name servers to point that domain to your WordPress.com site. The process is detailed on this page below:
