  I am trying to secure my domain name of VeronicaBlakely.com which was transferred to a WIX account. The website no longer shows and I paid Go Daddy for the domain name and transfer. Please advise. My email address: (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  Hi there,

  You bought the domain, veronicablakely.com, from us in 2010, so I’m not sure why you would pay GoDaddy to transfer that domain to Wix? GoDaddy has nothing to do with your domain.

  From what I can see that domain has never been transferred away from us, so you most likely only had it mapped to Wix, not transferred.

  That domain expired on 29 October and has since been cancelled as you didn’t renew it. It is currently in redemption with our domain registrar. I should still be able to get it back for you, but our registrar charges an $80 fee to restore a domain from redemption. I’ll need you to agree to that fee before I can start the recovery process.

  Once the domain is restored I can then help you transfer it to Wix if you want to do that.
