domain name

    We had a website through wordpress a few years ago and I just deleted it a few minutes ago. We are currently trying to recreate a new domain through a different service, but it’s still saying that the web address is unavailable. Is it something that just takes a few hours or can we not have the address at all? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Howdy stloufringe!

    Domains are unique. If it is unavailable, it means someone has bought that domain. For example, you can’t buy WordPress.com because it’s bought by Automattic. Whichever domain you’re attempting to buy is probably bought and in use by someone.
