  I have a current website with the domain name libertymusicdesign.com.au
  I am currently paying hosting fees to the company that built the site.
  I want to build my own site and use my existing domain name.
  How do I go about transferring the domain name.
  And, can I just get started with another domain name and transfer it later while Im waiting for this to happen.
  Keen to get building my new site.

  Hi Simon –

  While we aren’t able to accept incoming domain transfers, you are able to use your existing domain with WordPress.com through domain mapping. Here’s how you set that up: https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/
