  If choosing free option and your domain looks like this sample : http://www.hellovintage.wordpress.com in your domain, does that mean http://www.hellovintage.com is still available to others if they were to choose the personal or business option?? or does it keep that domain for you and when you choose to upgrade after a while there wont be any issues keeping the same domain?

  Hi there,

  Creating a free site with a WordPress.com address doesn’t automatically give you a custom domain. So if you wanted to use the domain hellovintage.com on hellovintage.wordpress.com, you would need to purchase it.

  This guide explains the process of registering a new domain:

  does it keep that domain for you and when you choose to upgrade after a while there wont be any issues keeping the same domain?

  If you register the domain as part of a WordPress.com plan, the domain will renew when your plan renews.
