  Hi, I previously held a domain name through WordPress, but it expired a few months ago. Does WordPress still maintain ownership of the domain, and if so, how can I transfer the domain to another provider?

  Found this article https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/ and also did a whois search. I see another registrar has snapped it up. Sneaky folks!
