  Hello, I have just bought mountainfarm.co.uk domain name. I have tried to link this to wordpress, it’s saying it’ll cost £11, and when it goes to the next page, sais it’ll cost £85! Can you help me please?

  You’ll need a plan upgrade to map this domain. WordPress.com Personal includes the domain credit needed. Check out the plan features at wordpress.com/pricing/ Go ahead and add the plan from that page.

  Once you have paid for it sign back in to your account and navigate to My Sites > Domains > Map it!

  Hi, thanks for that. I have paid the £85, it has given me a promotional code to use with google ad words, I have put the code into google, and it states that I can’t use it, can you change it to match my area code … Wales, UK? As it’s set in dollars not pounds.
  Also, I have tried to link mountainfarm.co.uk to the domain name in wordpress… do you know how long it’ll take to take affect?

  This promotion is only valid in the United States.

  You’ve mapped mountainfarm.co.uk to your WordPress.com account, so the last step is to update the name servers to point to WordPress.com as well.

  That is step #2 here:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/

  Once those changes are made it can take up to 72 hours for name servers to fully update.

  I just had another look and it seems that your name servers have updated. Are you able to see the site as well?

  Hi, thanks for the reply. I think it’s all set up now, although I’m unable to see my website in a browser, the 123 reg website appears. I’ll give them a call, Thanks for your help

  It can take up to 72 hours for the name servers to become fully activated. It is possible that I’d see the updates before you depending on location. Let me know if you still have trouble seeing the site in your browser.
