Domain name

    I tried to purchase a domain name just to have it redirect to my second Etsy store. However, when I purchased it – from another account I have with WordPress – it would only redirect to the WordPress site of my first Etsy store, with no way I could find to change it. I cancelled the domain name, created a whole new account for the second store, and now I cannot buy the domain name I want because it is ‘mapped to another WordPress site.’ That’s my own site – AND I cancelled it. How do I get this corrected so I can own the correct domain for the correct site?

    Hey there @blingyourdoll, when you cancel a domain, it won’t immediately be released for re-purchase. In your case because it’s a new .com domain, it’s held for about five days before release, or we can restore it to the original account. Then we can help you get it configured.

    I’m thinking restoring it would be best if you’re willing. Can you log into the account you used to make the purchase, then update us here? We’ll want to work quickly to get the domain restored.
