  How do I remove the ‘wordpress’ from my domain name?

  By upgrading to a paid plan, you get a domain credit to use for creating a domain that can replace the DotWordpressDotCom free domain name.

  I contacted Go Daddy so that they could mask my registered domain. Thats over 6 hours ago, and still I get the same message from wordpress when I try to “Add” domain that “this domain is already exist”.

  I dont understand what I am suppose to do to remove the “wordpress” part from my URL.. Please help….

  @dave2swords @otpidusprime And that is why it is always a good thing to check the username profile page of the original poster prior to answering. :) That profile page gives you a lot of information in addition to seeing if there is a duplicate thread that has already been answered.
