  I am currently trying to change my domain name from wordpress to dot com. How do I do that?

  You can’t change your domain to example.com with a free plan. You can switch to the Personal plan for $3 a month, which allows you to have a custom domain name. I talk about this a little bit on this post: http://wp.me/p6pkmz-Rm
