  I have connected my website – jobsacademicwriting.com to wordpress and now I want to add a few pages and launch it but I can only edit jobsacademicwriting.wordpress.com
  I don’t want a subdomain…how can I fix this?

  Correct account: Yes

  Hi there,

  I checked your account and found out that after canceling your plan, your domain started redirecting to the free jobsacademicwriting.wordpress.com subdomain. This is a default behavior when there’s no active plan.

  To set your custom domain as the primary address of your site and hide the .wordpress.com address, you’ll need to upgrade to one of our plans. If you were happy with the features of the Starter plan (previously known as the Personal plan) you had before, I’d recommend repurchasing that.

  Hi,
  Thanks for giving a timely reply. I’m just trying to launch a simple website, don’t need any special templates or plugins. The subdomain is mandatory in your free plan?
