Hi there, @tenderlyamphisbaena90e8659209! I’d be happy to help you with this!

I took a quick look at your account, but I didn’t notice any purchases there.

I also checked the domain livinglines.blog, and it’s available for purchase! If you’re interested in buying it, you can do so here:

    https://wordpress.com/start/domain/domain-only?new=livinglines.blog&search=yes

Are you planning to use this domain with a WordPress.com site? If so, just a quick heads-up that you’ll need a paid plan to set a custom domain as your primary address. The good news is that all our yearly plans come with a free domain for the first year, which is a nice bonus! You can check out our plans here:

    https://wordpress.com/pricing/

If you need help with a previous purchase or would like guidance on choosing a plan or domain, feel free to email us at help@wordpress.com, and we’ll be happy to help you from there.

Looking forward to hearing back from you!

Very Strange! When I made my account and webname, I clicked on Livinglines.blog…. It was free for one year. Now as I go on, it changed to livinglinesdotblog and I have to pay more. I know it’s still free I saw it as well, but I don’t understand why have to pay extra for something I start with as “free for one year”

I don’t know how to explain, but it was not what I asked/”pay” for or clicked on.

    Hello again, @tenderlyamphisbaena90e8659209!

It sounds like you may have seen the option to get a custom domain like livinglines.blog for free for one year. That offer is definitely available, and it’s included when you choose a yearly paid plan.

Once you upgrade, you’ll be able to register a domain like livinglines.blog for free and set it as your site’s primary address instead of a .wordpress.com address like example.wordpress.com. A paid plan is required to use a custom domain this way.

If you’d like to read a bit more about how it works, you can check out this guide:

    https://wordpress.com/support/domains/register-a-free-domain/

Let me know if you’d like help choosing the right plan or getting your custom domain set up. I’d be happy to help. 🙂
