Hello @globalgirlmediauk,
The “wordpress.com” ending isn’t something you need to undo. Go ahead and register the domain name you want, and then you can map that name to your WordPress.com site using these instructions, which hides the “wordpress.com” URL you don’t want to see:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/There is a charge for custom domain name use.

Hi there,
In order to use your domain hosted elsewhere with your WordPress.com site, you’ll need to change the domain nameservers at your domain host, and point them over to WordPress.com. Our nameservers are:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COMThen, you’ll need to purchase the mapping subscription upgrade so that you can map your domain over to your WordPress.com site.
For instructions on both processes, please visit our support page:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/
That domain will mask the .wordpress.com URL that you currently have, so no worries about changing that name.
However, in case you want to – you can change your blog address by going to My Blogs, and clicking the Change Blog Address link that appears when you hover over the address you want to change:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/
Note that you have the option to choose your user name to match the new blog address. If you choose this option, you will not be able to revert back to the original username, and it can affect profile URLs for other services such as Gravatar or IntenseDebate.
For detailed instructions/information on changing your blog name, please visit our support document:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!

I created a new WordPress domain. I accidentally created it under the wrong WordPress site. Can I switch it to the WordPress site I intended?

Hi there @memetmihi,
If you can post in here under the account you want the site transferred to, I can make the transfer for you. if you’re posting under the account that you want the site transfer to, please post under the account that the site is currently under to confirm ownership.
Thanks!
