    Hi there!

    Follow the next steps:

    1) Sign in to your GoDaddy account, and go to Hosting & SSL > Manage Your Hosting.

    2) Click the Setting button for your site.

    3) Click the Add Domain button.

    4) On the Add Domain button:
    – Select Enter a domain or subdomain.
    – Enter the domain you registered on WordPress.com
    – Make a note of the A record address provided by GoDaddy. You will need it to configure your DNS settings on WordPress.com
    – Check the box that says Make this the primary domain for your account.
    – Finally, click Add.

    5) On WordPress.com, go to Domain Management.

    6) Make sure the domain is your primary domain.

    7) Click on the Edit button for your domain, and then Name Servers.

    8) If it is set to use custom name servers, select “Use WordPress.com name servers” and save your changes.

    9) Move to Edit DNS.

    10) Click on the edit icon for the A record item.

    11) Confirm that you do want to edit the A record by clicking OK.

    12) Add a new A record:
    – Type in your WordPress.com domain.
    – Type in the IP address GoDaddy provided.
    – Click the Add button.
    – Click Save Changes.

    13) If you specified on GoDaddy that you want to use “www” for your domain, you’ll also need to add a CNAME record that points to your domain:
    – From Edit DNS, under Add New DNS Record, select CNAME from the drop-down.
    – Type www in the first field.
    – Type your domain in the second field.
    – Click the Add button.
    – Click the Save Changes.

    Hope this helps!

  • Hi @beautybymoshoodatgmailcom, in case you wanted to map the domain to a site here on our servers:

    First, choose a plan here:
    https://wordpress.com/plans

Then use the domain credit at https://wordpress.com/domains

Finally, if your domain is registered elsewhere, be sure to update its settings to point to our servers, and wait a few hours for that to take effect.
