  can i save-lock my domain name even though not using the site

  Yes, you can absolutely keep your domain name even if you’re not actively using the site. As long as the domain remains registered and renewed, it will stay yours.

  You’ll just need to keep renewing it so it doesn’t become available for anyone else to register.
