Domain Name

  We had the domain name oldhwy61.com purchased thru WP. The credit card on file expired and didn’t get the notice so our domain has expired. The domain is not available for purchase as it says it is taken. How do we go about getting this resolved to get the domain name back?

  I am tagging modlook to this thread so one of our staff can check the domain status through registrar and answer you what can be done to get it back.

  Actually @kathylindo, it looks a bit more complicated since the domain was purchased through another account.

  Your domain expired some time ago and is currently in redemption, so there’s an extra $80 fee to get it back. That’s levied by the registrar, so it’s not something we can easily waive. If you’d like me to email an invoice to the account on file (it’s under another user on the site) let me know.

  Your other option is to try waiting it out and hope no one else buys it at auction or purchases it before you can. Let us know what you’d like to do.
