  Good Afternoon! I tried to edit my domain name from oumollymo to crowningglory, and the site is saying that domain is taken. However, when I search for it, it says that domain does not exist. Am I able to change? Thank you!

  crowningglory.wordpress.com is a suspended site. Irrespective of the status (suspended, deleted, used, or reserved) if a domain name is allocated to one user, it can’t be reallocated to another user.

  You can opt for another similar domain name or register a custom domain name (https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/register-domain/)

  Hi oumollymo,

  It looks like crowningglory site has been archived or suspended for a violation of our Terms of Service.

  You can try to change to similar like crowningglory2017.wordpress.com

  To add on to the other helpful volunteers, here’s a few things you may want to think about…

  You can register another wordpress.com blog via http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/register-domain/

  A new domain name can be registered using the process at https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/register-domain/

  Domain mapping is used to link a domain name (already purchased somewhere else) with your WordPress.com account and is different from registering a new domain name.
