Domain Name

  I’m updating my web site, and when I look at the information on my account I see my primary domain name on the account it’s another domain name that I also owned. I want to make sure that my main domain name is the one working for SEO, can you please help me.

  Thank you for getting back to me.
  When I go in to my account I have as primary site:
  laliveproperties
  larealestatesale.worpress.com

  When I try to change larealestatesale for laliveproperties it doesn’t allow me, Both domains are mine but eventually I only keeping laliveproperties, so I want to change to that domain only.
  Can you change it for me?

  The account you are logged in to owns one site — larealestatesale.wordpress.com. Can you confirm which domain you are referring to?

  Hi again,
  When I had somebody doing the web for me, we started with larealestatesale.com, it’s my domain name, but I want to keep only one and I also Owned laliveproperties.com. I don’t want that to affect SEO.
  What do I need to do?

  Hi Jairo,

  laliveproperties.com was registered through GoDaddy which means you will need to use domain mapping to connect it to larealestatesale.wordpress.com:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  Can you change it to laliveproperties.com, I tried and It doesn’t let me.

  The domain is registered elsewhere so the domain mapping option needs to be selected, otherwise you will see a message to say the domain is already taken.

  Domain mapping is a feature of all paid plans — Personal, Premium and Business. Each plan includes a domain credit which can be used to map an existing domain (or register a new one).

  From what you’ve said, domain mapping should do what you need.
