Hello I recently joined WordPress a couple days ago and I was very excited to use this new platform. I rushed into things and bought the business package with the domain name. I then asked for a refund because I wanted to do more research first on developing websites first. Now when I search for the domain I first purchased, it says that it is taken? But they said the issued a refund… Will I still
be able to buy that domain again?? Thank you.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Once you lose a domain, it’s hard to get it back. Read more on following page –
https://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/As you have recently processed all of this, I believe there is a chance you could have it back. Though the chances are low.

Hi @tysenlata, when you cancel the domain right after registering, it goes back to the registrar, but will be released after a few days.
If you want to re-buy a plan here, we can work on restoring the domain. Or you can wait a while til it’s released, and buy the domain where you’d like.

@tysenlata It’s still semi registered here in a pending state. It’ll be released soon.
If you buy a plan we can restore it out of that state. Or we can let it finish its cancellation process so it’s released. What would you prefer?
