  We are currently looking into deleting our website to make a new one with WordPress. I have had a look into the domain name, but unsure how I would go about this. Will the original website have to be deleted before we can go ahead and use it for a new website?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Are you planning to use the same domain name, but just re-design the site? If so, do not delete the domain. Can you tell me what the domain is?

  There are 2 options to use an outside domain on WordPress.com.

  1. Map it: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
  2. Transfer it: https://en.support.wordpress.com/incoming-domain-transfer/prepare-domain-for-transfer/

  You can get started on the new site with your free site address, rhtechnicalservices.wordpress.com, and we can connect it to the domain once you’re ready to go-live with it.
