Domain name

    We are interested in using WordPress for our Webcomic Black Page. Upon entering our domain name of choice (BlackPage.wordpress.com) your website claims this domain is already in use. Though when navigating to Blackpage.wordpress.com, we stumble upon a note from WordPress that this site has been removed. Now we have two questions; #1 Is it possible for us to still claim this domain name, with your help? #2 If yes, once we upgrade to Premium, it is possible for us to remove the .Wordpress.com so we can have our URL to be http://www.Blackpage.com ?

    Hi there,
    The subdomain you want has been taken, so you won’t be able to get it for your site. However, the WordPress.com address has no bearing on the custom domain, and these don’t have to match. The site address isn’t available.

    In your case, the custom domain has already been purchased by someone else, it seems. Do you own blackpage.com to be able to use it here?
