  Can I add my own domain name to a free wordpress site? And if so will all my internal links to other existing blogs within my site still work or will I need to go and change them all manually?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  Yes, you can purchase or map a custom domain with your WordPress.com site, however it is not free and does require money. Learn more here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/

  As for the links which you have included within your site currently, you can automatically make them all redirect to your custom domain by setting your custom domain as your “Primary Domain”. You can find out on how to do that here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/#setting-the-primary-domain

  Hi there,

  To add to what @torres126 already said, to use a custom domain with your WordPress.com you’ll need to upgrade to any of our plans. Also, when using a custom domain all traffic from your old .wordpress.com address is automatically redirected.
