Domain name

  Hi
  When i created my wordpress account I am pretty sure I used the domain name noddyknowsnothing.wordpress.com, now I see it has changed to gillianmh.wordpress.com.
  How can I change it back?? If i try use that domain it says its already been used (now deleted)

  Hi there,

  To see if the domain name was changed from noddyknowsnothing.wordpress.com to gillianmh.wordpress.com, you may review your account activity by going to My Sites > Activity.

  There’s another possibility that the site noddyknowsnothing.wordpress.com was deleted by the original author so the domain name can no longer be used anymore. WordPress.com has a strict policy on blog address recycling.

  So when you chose to register your site as noddyknowsnothing.wordpress.com, it wasn’t successful since the site address is no longer available.

  Hi @gillianmh, I was able to get the name back for you, but any content would have been moved to the new site. You’re welcome to use at as you like now.
