  How long does it take for the domain name to be available again after its cancellation?

  I just asked for a refund and cancelled my plan that included my domain name. I am now trying to get the domain name through another provider.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  If a domain is not redeemed by the original owner and not purchased at auction, it returned to the pool of available domain names and can be re-registered on a first-come, first served basis.
  Wordpress does not keep track of the availability of cancelled domains.

  Staff does not receive any notification when cancelled domains are released so keep checking whether it has become available again or not.
